LGANT SURVEYS MEMBERS ON CDEP

The Local Government Association has received a good response rate from members on the CDEP survey and the results and comments are currently being compiled. Of those members that lost their CDEP as part of the federal intervention 80% report an increase in full time jobs in the community but 100% want CDEP to be re introduced. Of all the respondents 85% believe that the current elements of CDEP (capital, recurrent and salary) should be retained.
